All of the Mason and Dayton Golden Heart Senior Caregivers, regardless of their education or previous experience, will benefit from the expert training provided by our Executive Director.
Training materials used for the preparation of our care agents are provided by the nationally renowned company Medifecta. In 1995 Marion Karpinski, RN founded Healing Arts Communications (now Medifecta Healthcare Training) in response to witnessing families and in home care providers struggle to perform hospital-level duties at home with little or no training. Marion recognized a pressing need for family and professional education resources for senior caregivers in Dayton, Beavercreek, Kettering, and Mason, OH.
Marion Karpinski, RN brings 35 years of nursing experience, much of which took place in a hospital or skilled home senior care settings. All Golden Heart care aides who will work in the greater Mason and Dayton, OH area are trained using the Medifecta system combined with classroom discussions and guidance led by the Golden Heart Training Director. Each senior caregiver is tested on each component of the home aide training, and additional modules of instruction including “Hospice Support Care”, “Private Duty in a Care Facility Setting” “Helping Seniors Maintain Independence,” and finally, the techniques and tools for developing Senior Caregivers who are sensitive to the needs of our clients.
